Learning Links Preschool, of AbilityPath, is hiring for an Assistant Director

Compensation: $70,000–$75,000 annually (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE – What We Value:
As Assistant Director, you will play a vital leadership role by supporting teachers, mentoring staff, and ensuring that Learning Links Preschool continues to thrive as a high-quality inclusive program.
Engage and Inspire Teachers: Provide coaching, mentoring, and classroom feedback to promote teacher growth and quality instruction.
Curriculum & Classroom Quality: Support innovative curriculum development and evaluation to meet inclusion philosophy and promote children’s social-emotional well-being.
Compliance & Safety: Support Title 22 licensing, safety standards, emergency preparedness, and compliance with all regulations.
Team Leadership: Assist with teacher scheduling, onboarding, training plans, and professional development.
Family Engagement: Support enrollment, open houses, parent conferences, and help build strong school–home partnerships.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Preschool Director to meet program and family needs while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, or related field
24+ core ECE units as required by Title 22
2+ years’ experience as a Lead Teacher in a play-based, emergent program using DRDP and ASQ
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
Commitment to inclusion and supporting children of all abilities
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
Proof of negative TB test
Verification of occupational physical clearance
Passing a criminal fingerprint clearance
18 years of age or older
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to respond to children with special needs
Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
Sit, stand, stoop, and bend frequently
