Hybrid Shop Technician - CDL Class A Required chez Centrisys/CNP

Centrisys/CNP is an established company and a leader in the centrifuge manufacturing industry. We are an organization that is client-focused and team-driven. We currently have 1st shift opportunities for Shop Technicians. 

The ideal candidate has experience working in skilled trades or is looking to start a skilled trade career and has the drive to learn. Trades include electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, fabricating, and building maintenance. 

A CDL Class A is required for this position due to operating and inspecting Class A trucks and vehicles. 

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

· Operate CDL trucks and vehicles, forklifts, and overhead cranes

· Perform pre-inspections on CDL trucks/vehicles

· Perform machine assembly, installation of equipment, and repair of equipment

· Perform general machine maintenance and facility maintenance

· Loading and unloading equipment

· Pick up materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed 

· Perform other various duties as assigned

Requirements

· Must hold a CDL for a minimum of 2 years – Class A with an insurable driving record. No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years

· Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations

· Must be able to lift over 50lbs

· Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred

· Ability to operate in a fast paced, ever changing work environment

· High school diploma or equivalent required – any technical training or other training beyond high school is a plus

· Pre-employment background check & drug screening required
