TITLE: Dispatch Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Dispatch
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Position Summary:
The Dispatch Supervisor, under the direction of the Operations Manager, leads the dispatch and cart delivery departments and to ensure company objectives are met in the areas of safety, service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness. The Dispatch Supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, logistics coordination, and data analytics capabilities to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise the dispatch department and cart delivery operations.
- Timely and effective resolution of customer issues, complaints, and inquiries by collaborating with frontline employees and customers.
- Maintain contact between drivers and operations, dispatching drivers based on customer needs, driver locations, and operational priorities.
- Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow up on daily route assignments for residential, roll-off, and commercial drivers.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers and across company departments to ensure timely, effective service and issue resolution.
- Maintain timely and accurate data in enterprise risk management software
- Oversee distribution and maintenance of driver tablets.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and support operational improvements, including route optimization.
- Lead with professionalism and accountability, fostering a culture of respect and communication.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years in dispatch or logistics (required).
- 2+ years in a supervisory role (required).
- Experience with enterprise risk management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Working Conditions
Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use.
