Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily correspondence including sorting, distributing, and responding to mail.
Scan and digitize incoming documents accurately for record-keeping and processing.
Verify and record incoming documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Assist in general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and answering phones.
Support billing staff with document preparation and administrative follow-up as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and practice information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous office or administrative experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or billing environment.
Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer systems (e.g., scanners, Microsoft Office, email).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
