Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily correspondence including sorting, distributing, and responding to mail.

  • Scan and digitize incoming documents accurately for record-keeping and processing.

  • Verify and record incoming documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Assist in general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and answering phones.

  • Support billing staff with document preparation and administrative follow-up as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and practice information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous office or administrative experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or billing environment.

  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer systems (e.g., scanners, Microsoft Office, email).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
