The FP&A Analyst is responsible for developing financial models, conducting variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to promote profitability, growth, and operational efficiency. This includes and is not limited to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and partnering with account and department leaders to translate financial data into strategic recommendations. The goal of the FP&A Analyst is to be a trusted business partner, providing the financial intelligence necessary to maximize client lifetime value and optimize agency performance.

This role is remote within the U.S. within the U.S. East Coast only.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a desire to grow within the finance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the company’s forecasts, and budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, financial performance commentary, and trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor key financial metrics and track performance against forecasts and budgets.
• Assist with annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Analyze business performance and financial trends to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar finance-related role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
• Knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced with Financial systems (Netsuite, SalesForce).
