Join our theatre team as an Entertainment planning Intern and front-of-house intern, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in venue management, event coordination, and the hospitality and entertainment industries!
This position is only available to students who are eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university
Knowledge & Skills Developed:
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of key theatre operations, including:
- Event Planning & Management
- Crowd Management, Safety & Security
- Front of House Management
- Volunteer Usher Program Management
- Catering, Hospitality & Patron Services
- Guest Experience
- Accessibility & General Maintenance
You’ll learn through direct instruction, professional mentorship, and hands-on involvement in each area. Additionally, you'll manage projects via ASANA and may complete an industry-based research project.

Schedule Expectations:
- Attend weekly theatre meetings (as schedule allows)
- Two office afternoons weekly (8 hours total)
- FOH set-up before shows & strike after (as schedule allows)
- Opportunities to independently manage FOH for exceptional interns
This internship is designed to equip you with broad, real-world experience in the theatre and event planning industries.
The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
