Contract Days: 165
Daily: Three Forks operates on a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday, and one Friday per month. 2025 - 2026 School Calendar
Reports to: Early Childhood Director
Childcare Facility Operation:
Provide direct care and supervision to a group of children, ensuring their safety, well being and comfort.
Observe and assess children’s progress and behavior to identify individual needs and areas for improvement.
Open and close the facility; perform daily facility safety checks.
Supervise Assistant Teachers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.
Collaborate with the Assistant Teachers to develop and share lesson plans that support approved curriculum.
Collaborate with the Director on the enrollment and registration of children.
Participate in parent teacher conferences; build positive relationships with parents.
Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Administrative:
Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, development, and any incidents that occur.
Collect childcare information from parents to quality care monitor that individual care is provided.
Check in with the Childcare Director on issues as needed.
Safety:
Work safely to prevent accidents
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and clutter free facility to ensure children’s safety.
Ensure safety protocols, including emergency procedures and health guidelines, are followed diligently.
Document child injuries and illnesses when needed.
Promote and observe safe work methods; use safety equipment, secure work sites, participate in and conduct safety trainings.
Equipment Used:
A variety of electronic and technology devices, computers, copier, telephone/voice mail, fax.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works inside and outside. The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and stand; twist at neck and waist; kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to be able to hear conversations in quiet environments. May be required to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
Mental/Motor Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely performs routine work. The employee frequently exercises flexibility (ability to shift from one task to another). Guidance and reinforcement are infrequently available. The employee frequently works within time constraints and maintains attentiveness intensity. The employee is frequently involved in social interactions which require oral and written communications.
