Job Description:

• Implements ABA curriculum and strategies including discrete trial instruction

• Plan and implement student programs based on individualized assessment

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate all students

• Works closely with CST and support staff in the classroom

• Integrate the use of educational technology into the curriculum

• Use varied assessments to drive instruction

• Exhibit structured classroom management

• Willingly seeks to become an integral part of the school's professional learning community

• Exhibit warmth, kindness and compassion

Qualifications:

• Appropriate State of NJ P-3 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate

• Experience and demonstrated success with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

• Knowledge of Rethink, Sonday’s  and Curiosity Corner a plus

• Experience working with a diverse student population, including students on the Autistic Spectrum preferred.

• Knowledge of the Pre School Teaching and Learning Standards.

• Bilingual/Spanish a plus
