About the Department
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Public Works team as a Utility Operator, focusing on the essential services in Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, and Stormwater Systems. If you're passionate about maintaining our city's vital infrastructure and enjoy working hands-on with various mechanical systems, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
Salary: $23.53 - $25.98 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: Four 10-hour workdays per week, with a rotating on-call schedule

- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in construction or utility work preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must obtain pH certification within the probationary period
- North Dakota Class A Commercial Learner’s Permit - obtain within 3 months of hire and
North Dakota Class A Commercial Driver’s License - obtain within 6 months of hire,
minimum requirements: Automatic Transmission, Tanker, and Air Brake
