SUMMARY
Provides technical and sales support for underground construction specification work on all Company products and/or processes by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
- Responsible for district product strategy and assisting in the implementation for existing and new market areas and products.
- Routinely visits customers and end users of our project, educating them about new products and obtaining their feedback and relating this feedback to the appropriate location.
- Conducts customer educational seminars or similar related items.
- Primary contact for sales and customer-related technical questions in sales districts assigned.
- Conducts market research and identifies products that the company should be providing and tracks market trends in the company’s industry.
- Produces and assists in the completion of competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
- Regular travel by automobile to conduct business as required.
- Market sales, customer and Branch office contacts with goal of providing and distributing our product to their needs.
- Provides direct customer communication when needed as it pertains to product use and application.
- Attend trade shows, meetings, exhibitions and conventions to make customer contacts which result in product sales.
- Maintains complete knowledge of EJ castings and water products, fabricated products and infrarisers.
- Reviews existing products and customer specifications for up-to-date, cost-effective casting design. Works with other Engineering personnel on proposed design modifications. Submits revised designs for customer approval.
- Continually educate themselves on the new products and be knowledgeable about them.
- Reviews reports and is knowledgeable about new national products and district products.
- Completes regular reports about specification work completed/in process, large projects identified, customer service concerns/issues/successes, and sales calls completed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; preferably in Civil Engineering field. Minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
