Position Purpose:
As the Winter4Kids Business Development Associate you will be responsible for growing our customers by generating leads and identifying target organizations and schools to participate in our programs.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Sales environment preferred
• Experienced selling into the youth serving organization market, including contract processes, preferred but not required.
• Ability to work individually and as a part of a team.
• Customer service oriented with ability to initiate prospecting activities, sales calls and face to face meetings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous CRM software experience, preferred
Responsibilities:
• Research and develop new sales leads by identifying potential prospects and leading outreach for Winter4Kids relationships.
• Drive the full sales cycle, from first contact through contract close.
• Identify decision makers within targeted leads.
• Contact, arrange and develop new client relationships through office visits, meetings, presentations, and coordination with Winter4Kids colleagues.
• Manage, review, and communicate new First Tracks contracts with your supervisor
• Coordinate and manage First Track program schedules with the First Track Development Manager.
• ProgramCommunicate any First track scheduling changes with the First Track Director
• Utilize available technology to track follow-ups with customers.
• Handle outbound calls to convert into new client relationships.
• Attend relevant events to connect with new prospects.
• Assists with First Tracks programming
• Responsible for obtaining new contracts by identifying client needs, presenting service solutions, andnegotiating terms to secure agreement with new clients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
• This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Vernon, NJ location. Candidates must be able to commute daily and work on-site.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for extended periods and be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.
• The employee frequently is required to sit and reach and must be able to move around the work environment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities.
• The work is performed indoors and outdoors and may require occasional travel.
