Position Overview
The Practice Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in Epic Health’s growth strategy by generating leads and scheduling qualified appointments to support practice acquisitions. This is a high-activity, phone-based role that focuses on prospecting physicians and practice owners who may be interested in selling their practices or exploring partnership opportunities with Epic Health.
Operating from our headquarters, the Practice Acquisition Specialist will use targeted outreach, strong communication skills, and persistence to connect with decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and set meetings that lead to acquisition discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to physicians, practice managers, and healthcare decision-makers.
Use call lists, CRM tools, and market research to identify potential acquisition targets.
Qualify leads based on criteria provided by the acquisition team (e.g., specialty type, location, practice size, ownership interest).
Appointment Setting & Pipeline Support
Schedule and confirm appointments for the Senior Practice Acquisition Specialist.
Ensure the calendar is consistently filled with high-quality, qualified meetings.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, lead status, and scheduled meetings in the CRM system.
Collaboration & Communication
Provide detailed handoff notes and background information for each scheduled appointment.
Work closely with the Senior Practice Acquisition Specialist to refine target lists and outreach strategies.
Participate in weekly pipeline review meetings to update leadership on activity, results, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience in phone-based sales, appointment setting, or lead generation (healthcare experience strongly preferred).
Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills.
Comfort with high-volume outbound calling.
Ability to qualify leads effectively and identify potential business opportunities.
CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) preferred.
Highly organized, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
Performance Metrics
Number of outbound calls placed daily/weekly.
Number of qualified appointments set.
Conversion rate from lead to appointment.
Show rate for scheduled appointments.
Quality of leads as determined by acquisition outcomes.
