We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will combine technical knowledge with strong sales skills to promote our automation and engineering products and solutions. You will identify customer needs, propose appropriate solutions, and drive business growth by building long-term relationships with clients.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior State Manager, you will work within a goal-oriented team. You will participate in team meetings to discuss business opportunities, solutions, and new initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with customers, including End Users, Consultants, System Integrators, Switchboard Builders, and OEMs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, providing tailored commercial and technical solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including proposals and negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare accurate quotations and solution recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to drive growth.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and ensure successful outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Any other tasks assigned by direct manager.
Requirements
Whom we’re looking for:
This position is particularly suited to individuals with a passion for learning and growth:
- A degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification; Sales or customer service experience would be advantageous
- An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills. The ability to negotiate and influence to achieve positive outcomes
- A team player with proven success in building effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
