Hybrid Transportation Engineers chez Gorove Slade

Job Duties: Perform traffic studies and applies industry-standard methodologies to evaluate transportation systems to support development and infrastructure projects. Apply current local, state and federal design and zoning standards and regulations to ensure compliance and enhance safety on all transportation projects. Analyze and solve complex transportation planning problems dealing with all travel modes using various types of Traffic Analysis Software (Synchro, SimTraffic, PTV Vistro, Street Light Data). Work closely on signal design plans to develop signal timing submissions for new traffic signals and signal modifications ensuring optimal intersection performance and improved traffic operations.

Requirements: Must have master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Education must include coursework in transportation safety, traffic sim model, and regression analysis. Job at Fairfax, VA office.
