As a Warehouse Associate at Infinity Communications Group, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include inventory management, tracking shipments, handling shipping and receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This position requires a hands-on individual with mechanical aptitude, experience using inventory management software, and proficiency in forklift operation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is well-maintained and safe to operate.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and organization for efficient storage and product handling.
  • Implement best practices for order picking, packing, and shipping processes.

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure accurate and timely inventory replenishment.

Inventory Management Software:

  • Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
  • Train and support warehouse staff and technicians in the use of inventory management software.

Mechanical Skills:

  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on warehouse equipment and machinery. (Preferred)
    • At least mechanically inclined enough to charge a dead battery or crank up a generator (Required)
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for warehouse equipment to minimize downtime.

Safety and Cleanliness:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Enforce safety protocols are in compliance with OSHA and EHS. 
  • Conduct regular safety training for warehouse staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse equipment.
  • Forklift certification and experience in forklift operation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • CPR and First Aid certificated (Training Provided)
  • OSHA 10 and 30 certified within the first 90 days of employment (Training Provided)

Schedule:

  • Full time position
  • 8-hour shifts with possible overtime in coordination with field crews or current DR events
  • Weekend availability

Pay Scale: $22-25 hourly
