East Grand Forks, MN, is a city with a population of approximately 9,000, located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND, and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district's K-12 enrollment is approximately 1950 students, as well as a thriving preschool program. The district has four separate school buildings housing grades PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Terms:
2025-2026 Season
Compensation will be per the EGFEA Master Work Agreement
Salary Range: $1,550 - $2,000 (Contract is under negotiation)
Reporting Relationship:
The Middle School Robotics Coach reports directly to the HS Robotic Coordinator and Activities Director.
Basic Function of the Position:
The Middle School Robotics Coach must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of Robotics.
Job Summary:
East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Middle School Robotics Coach to lead and grow our middle school robotics program. The successful candidate will collaborate with the High School Robotics Coordinator to guide students in developing foundational skills in engineering, programming, and collaborative problem-solving, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment. The Robotics Coach will be responsible for planning and leading practices, preparing students for competitions, and ensuring alignment with competition rules and district policies. Additional responsibilities include organizing build sessions, supporting students through the design and troubleshooting process, and promoting critical thinking, creativity, and confidence.
