Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete all phases of crown and bridge fabrication, from model work to finished stained and glazed restorations. Construct prostheses by making impressions of the patients’ teeth and mouth. Manufacture fixed restorations to correct patients’ maxillofacial irregularities. Construct partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal).
Required experience:
24 months’ experience as a Dental Technician or related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Requires 2 years of the following: chairside (dental office) experience in impression making, clinical photography, shade matching and modification, and adjusting of dental prosthesis prior to cementation or delivery; and experience in digital dentistry for Intra-Oral Scan cases, from prosthesis design to case completion, and with ceramic and Zirconia restorations for performing multi-color micro layering to balance light perception.
