This is a Part-Time position - Weekends only (flexible)

General Summary

A Weekend Merchandiser moves stock from back room to shelving locations, serving mostly grocery and convenience stores. This position is responsible for rotating current products and displaying new items while ensuring that all products and shelves are neat, organized, and appealing to customers. 

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid VA Driver License – MVR must meet Hoffman Beverage standards.

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to operate efficiently under minimal supervision (self-managed role)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A willingness to be trained and follow procedures accurately
• Good time management capabilities
• A solid commitment to performing in the role

Experience:

• Previous beverage experience preferred
• Previous merchandising experience preferred

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for own expenses associated with vehicle, this includes gas.
• Maintain a satisfactory work pace with effective time management.
• Responsible for the stocking of shelves at accounts, such as grocery stores accounts on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Comply with proper product rotation standards for product freshness and quality.
• Prepare damaged and outdated product for pickup by F/T staff and be returned to the warehouse
• Follow company merchandising standards
• Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up.
• Maintain professional and team relationship with co-workers and customers.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management. 

Compensation:

• Weekend Merchandisers are eligible for pay $160 per day worked.
• There may be opportunities for additional or higher compensation with special events, weekday merchandising, and holiday merchandising.

Although this is not a benefit-eligible position, Weekend Merchandisers have the opportunity to participate in company events such as raffles, sponsorships, and parties!
