At Parks Hospitality Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our building maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of hotel facilities and systems. Working under the guidance of the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping the hotel in excellent working condition.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine hotel maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system service.
• Conduct preventive building maintenance and repairs on systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, performing repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder items as needed.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
• Assist in training and mentoring other maintenance staff as needed.

What You’ll Need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or construction-related field, preferably in a hotel maintenance setting.
• Solid understanding of building maintenance principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Technical training or certification in a relevant trade is advantageous.
