Description
The Superintendent will work with minimal assistance, managing approximately $10 million annually, or will assist in managing fieldwork of larger projects under Superintendent II. Superintendent I will also mentor and assist in developing Assistant Superintendents, having up to two direct reports. The specific duties will be determined using a project-by-project-specific project responsibility matrix, providing you with a platform for continuous growth and development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- All OSHA, EPA, and ODH policies, procedures, and regulations must be followed to maintain a safe work environment.
- Attend, participate in, and lead company meetings, subcontractor meetings, and Owner Architect Contractor (OAC) meetings.

Lead and manage the on-site construction team, including scheduling work shifts, monitoring project progress, and allocating resources.

Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with project specifications.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Review project schedules and ensure that milestones and deadlines are met.

Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project expenses.

Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control.

Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with vendors and suppliers.

Work closely with clients, project managers, and other construction professionals to determine budgets and timelines.

Implement management techniques that are both cost-effective and efficient.

Qualifications
- B.A. in Construction Management or related field
- Over 5 years’ experience in construction management
- Fit to Work / OSHA 30 certification
- Active involvement in community organization
- 8 hours of continuing education annually
ABILITY TO TRAVEL, COMMUTE/RELOCATE:
- Must be able to travel locally within a reasonable distance from the main office and with reasonable notice from management.
