Role

The Software Solutions Team Leader is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on automation, integration, and operational efficiency. This role is central to the organization’s strategy to streamline processes and deploy intelligent systems using Power Platform, Azure, and AI technologies.

As part of the Technology team, the Software Solutions Team Leader collaborates with business units to define requirements, recommend technical solutions, and deliver scalable applications. The position includes direct leadership responsibilities for a team of developers working within the Microsoft ecosystem. In addition to hands-on development, the Software Solutions Team Leader provides technical direction, mentorship, and day-to-day support to ensure high-quality delivery across initiatives.

**Please note that this role is Hybrid. Applicants must be able to commute to Overland Park, KS twice a week.**

Qualifications

To be successful as the Software Solutions Team Leader we are looking for someone with:

Required Experience:  

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and App Services.
• Knowledge of API design and consumption using REST and GraphQL.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases like SQL Server, and experience working with NoSQL databases  when appropriate.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
• Working knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data processing.
• Demonstrated ability to implement AI-based solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps and ALM practices related to Power Platform and Azure.

Preferred Experience:

• Expertise in Power Platform development, including Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and Dataverse.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly Customer Engagement (CRM) and Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Experience working within regulated environments; familiarity with financial services preferred.
• Experience integrating Microsoft solutions with external APIs or legacy systems.
• Background in business process improvement and enterprise automation strategy.

Additional Skills the Software Solutions Team Leader should have:

• Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, architectural thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field strongly preferred
