The Company

IKON Services is a nationally recognised company with divisions specialising in Cleaning, Property Services and Waste Management. IKON is highly regarded within the industry for delivering high-quality, innovative service solutions to our clients. 

We are currently looking for a Night Manager for Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6:30am

The Role 

This role will be responsible for the Management of a range 15-20 cleaners, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work. 

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Proven supervisory/management experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Reporting of any maintenance requirements
• Planning, organising, and managing the work of subordinate staff.
• Performing or assisting with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness.
• Training, supervising, and motivating cleaning staff.
• Developing and implementing cleaning schedules and routines.
• Inspecting work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards
•       Manage and control labour hours as against budgeted contract hours;
•       Sign-off on all payroll matters inc. timesheets, leave and associated paperwork;
•        Review rosters to achieving best possible outcome (operational & financial)

About You 

To ensure your success in this role we anticipate that the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Working Rights in Australia
• Good communication skills
• Great Attitude and Willingness to learn
• Current Driver's license. 
• Current Forklift licensed (Preferred) not essential
