About the Orange Movement
Launched in 2022, the Orange Movement™ is a global initiative led by IIX to integrate gender equality and climate action into financial markets. At the core of the movement are Orange Bonds—the world’s first gender-lens and climate-focused asset class—designed to:
- Mobilize US$10 billion in capital markets by 2030
- Positively impact 100 million women, girls, and gender minorities
- Position women and gender minorities as leaders in climate resilience and adaptation
The Orange Movement advances this vision through strategic partnerships, capital innovation, governance, and global advocacy. Supported by a three-year anchor grant from Australia’s DFAT, it now seeks a leader who can scale the movement into a global financial force.
