The Department of Agricultural Economics, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University seeks qualified applicants for one part-time, non-tenure, visiting faculty position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning Fall 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Visiting Professor of the Practice depending on qualifications. This opportunity has the possibility of renewal.
The successful candidate will teach AGEC 216, "Fundamentals of the AgriFood Sales Industry."
The Department of Agricultural Economics is renowned for training high-caliber graduates to pursue careers in industry, government, private sector and law. The Department also provides students with superior problem-solving and critical thinking skills applied to environmental, public policy, marketing and sales, entrepreneurship, finance and real estate and agribusiness issues.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics with emphasis on Agribusiness and have an extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting.
