POSITION SUMMARY:Our supply chain operations team is responsible for the day-to-day planning, scheduling, direct material purchasing, inventory management and inventory accuracy for the expanding Cottage Grove, MN inbound logistics operation.  We are seeking a supply chain analyst to help improve our business process, increase our efficiencies, and expand our KPI dashboards.  Candidate must be local to the MN area as no relocation or sponsorship will be offered for this position.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain(plan, source, make, deliver)Provides a high degree of logistics analysis to support decision making optimize inbound logistics parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demandsIdentifies supply chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, Utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinkingCollaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material plannersFacilitates functional teams and meeting. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience.  Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred3-5 years combined experience in Supply Chain Operations, Sourcing, Operations, or Logistics required.Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systemsDemonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining and data reportingProven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and/or external customersAble to identify unexpressed customer needs and potential services/tools to meet those needsIs self-sufficient and motivated to take action and grow and develop.Provides peer-to-peer coaching and developmental feedback to others.Strong influencing skills are required.Candidate must be local to the MN area as no relocation is offered for this positionPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience.Experience with powerbi, BOBJ, Infor LN, Factory Track, etc. Logistics background preferred in inbound, outbound or transportation Understanding of manufacturing processesLean Six Sigma experience preferredLight Project Mgmt experience would be helpfulNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred. COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $77,255-$119,745.
