POSITION SUMMARYThe Sr. HR Business Partner partners with client groups within our end-to-end supply chain: strategic sourcing and engineering. This position is both a strategic and hands-on role that serves primarily as a strategic thought- and business partner to the site operations leaders, while also being responsible for the execution of full-cycle Human Resources support. The role is critical in devising local organization effectiveness and talent development strategies while executing people initiatives, providing internal customer support, transforming the organization’s culture and driving HR functional excellence.The Sr. HR Business Partner is an individual contributor or supervisor who provides business partner leadership to a single site or function serving as primary liaison to supervisors, directors and VPs on projects and initiatives.This role may lead a small team of 1-3 HR coordinators and adminstrative resources to support a small plant or function responsible for the development of the team. RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze organizational effectiveness (organizational health and organizational performance) to determine root causes, identify interventions, identify and assign internal and external resources with expertise to address the issues, oversee implementation and evaluate results.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with broader HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.Partner with hiring managers and talent management team to strategize search approaches (internal and external) and assist in recruiting process to include preparation of job descriptions, identifying key competencies, interviewing, and offer formulationManage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.Provide investigation support for other parts of the organization on an as need basis or as part of the EE relations team.Provides performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Consult and counsel and proactively coach managers regarding compensation alignment and equity in preparing new hire salary recommendations, internal transfers, market adjustments, and promotional recommendationsMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.Serve as a vital link between local operations, functional and corporate teams, fostering collaboration between local HR teams and corporate HR and Enterprise Services and across teams within the regional facilities being supported.May lead a staffing function at a small location.Support health, safety, and environment initiatives and programs and proactively facilitate a safe and healthy culture.Lead enterprise projects that may cross functions, locations, and/or enterprise.May supervise or provide direction to single site teams that may include HR Coordinators, adminstrators, staffing resources.QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS degree in Human Resources or similar discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 7+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist capacityMasters Level Preferred PHR/SHRM-SCP Certification preferred Excellent HR Acumen: Deep knowledge of HR processes and SME expertise on multiple HR disciplines.Ability to build relatioinships and trust with excellent skills in coaching and mentoringExcellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers, uses data to make decisions.Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills – can bring others together and reconcile differences.Ability to build a multi-lingual translation team to support ethnically diverse work populations.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships - influence at all levels.Good organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high level goals; managing multiple projects simultaneously."Proficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Experience with HRIS"COMPENSATIONPay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $88,235 - 136,765.
