Position Summary:
The Guest Service Ambassador is responsible for providing Four Diamond Standard Service to our internal and external guests. The main responsibilities include paper fills, jackpots, minor machine repair, currency and coin exchange and Rewards card signups, properly implementing Title 31 procedures, observing and safeguarding assets of the company, and performing responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.

In this Role:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and always promoting AAA Four Diamond and Gun Lake Casino Resort’s standards.
- Comply with signatory controls, including jackpot / fill vouchers, check-in / out sheet, key control, and other forms associated with daily duties.
- Capable of counting down, checking in / out, and maintaining accountability of a slot booth or bank.
- Follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines.
- Inform shift management of any illegal gaming devices or activity.
- Effectively and efficiently complete transactions for guests while maintaining Title 31 requirements.
- Follow all procedures and policies to ensure that duties are performed within accepted standards established by Casino Management and Regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift.
- Handle guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner.
- Inform Slot leadership of guest needs which may require special accommodation.
- Keep work areas and casino floor neat, clean, and safe.
- Understand and be aware of the Rewards Program to sign guests up and champion the benefits of the program.
- Be aware of all current and upcoming events and promotions.
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Basic math and money-handling skills.
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license with the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Working understanding of Title 31 requirements.
- Understand and practice Four Diamond Service standards and The Seven Grandfather Teachings.
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to handle Guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner while demonstrating sound judgment and mature decision-making.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Ability to push a cart weighing in excess of 300 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Able to hear radio transmissions and communicate clearly on the radio.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an office environment or out on the casino floor. Work areas may be warm, cold, or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
