About Me
Hello! I am a male aged 52 years I am looking for friendly Support Workers to assist me in achieving my NDIS goals. I live independently and looking of someone who would like to join my team who will encourage my independence.
The Role
An Opportunity is available to join my team of wonderful support workers who help to facilitate my daily life. My support workers assist me on a 1;1 shift AM and PM.
I am seeking a Support Worker who is wanting to join a team environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting me with Assisted Daily Living Tasks
- Providing personal care prompts
- Helping me get to work, sports events, and training sessions
- Encouraging me to achieve my personal goals
- Assisting with life skill development through structured plans and programs
- Engaging in person-centred active support
- Maintaining accurate records for best practice care
Shifts
I am looking for someone to support me on a Permanent Part Time basis.
My shifts will include the below roster:
Week 1
Thursday 0700-1000
Friday 0700-1000
Sunday 1700-2000
Monday 0700-1000
Tuesday 0700-1000
Week 2
Thursday 0700-1000
Friday 0700-1000
What you’ll need:
To be the perfect fit, you’ll need:
- NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check
- Working with Children check
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification
- Diabetes Management without insulin
- Dysphagia
About you:
I am looking for a creative and positive person to join my team. A good match for me would be someone who has an efficient and confident approach in what they do and possesses a calm and patient nature. A good sense of humour is also important.
Other requirements:
- Ability to implement individualised developmental programs.
- Experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
- Flexible working hours
- Experience in various models of support preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service delivery.
