Base Salary $146,197 - $154,260 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Advisor, Strategic Planning delivers advice and guidance through the development, design, and implementation stages of strategic planning. This role supports the Director, Strategic Planning, and senior team members to provide quality consultation, conducting research and discovery, and design for new strategies, including their performance monitoring and review.
The Advisor, Strategic Planning role works within the Strategic Planning function to deliver its initiatives, consultation, design, and analysis. The incumbent works closely with stakeholders across the faculties, portfolios, PSUs, and other communities using a deep understanding of the higher education sector to provide advice and outputs for the prosecution of major strategic initiatives. As a thought leader, the role is a trusted advisor to various academic and professional communities and contributes to forward-thinking plans and projects that advance the University’s strategic objectives.
About you
Proven experience delivering strategic advice and planning within large, complex organisations, engaging a broad range of stakeholders
Ability to build effective client relationships, and negotiate and influence effectively at all levels, internally and externally
Demonstrated high-level analytical, strategic planning, project management and problem-solving skills
Excellent research and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, that contribute to operational improvement and best practice planning and reporting
Highly effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with stakeholders and communicate at all levels across the organisation
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills and ability to convey strategy effectively to colleagues and leadership
