Hybrid Classification Officer chez LaSalle Corrections

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain all facility counts and follow set procedures

To stress staff adherence to classification policy

To work closely with all shifts to foster a team effort among the staff

To report finding of non-compliance in classification, counts and areas of needed improvement to appropriate persons. 

To prepare reports and other related duties as required for LaSalle, County, USMS, and ICE

Maintain the Veterans reentry report as needed

Learn booking process

Maintain the population and transport to and from other agencies 

Daily ICE Manifest

Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

Must not be currently on disciplinary probation or suspension.

Continuous sitting up to 2 hours per shift

Ability to work continuously on a telephone/computer/scanner/fax/copier or other office equipment for up to 2 hours or more per shift with scheduled breaks

Frequent grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting

Pay Rate: $19.50
