We are seeking one Information Technology Junior/Senior student to participate in our Fall Internship program with the option to continue through the Spring 2025 semester. We require a minimum of 10-15 hours per week and will schedule the hours around your classes through the Fall/Spring semesters.
The selected student will be working in the Information Technology department with the support of our dedictated IT team who will be providing mentorship along with our many team members. Below is a partial list of tasks/projects on which the student will be working:
- Troubleshooting Windows and Linux systems
- Troubleshooting printers and scanners
- Configure and deploy new computers
- Basic knowledge in computer repair
- Troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Document current work processes
- Able to terminate ethernet cables (T-568A and T-568B)
- Communication between departments and escalating issues in a timely manner
- Managing a delegated AD (Active Directory) OU
- Basic networking (physical and wireless) issues
The ideal candidate will be working towards a 4-year degree in Information Technology at an accredited institution, have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and the ability to multitask. The candidate must be familiar with TCP/IP suite and have the physical ability to climb ladders and run network lines.
