About the Department
To monitor the use of Lookout Ridge and provide patrons excellent customer service in a clean, safe and comfortable atmosphere.
Position will be open until September 7, 2025, with priority consideration given to applications received by August 24, 2025.
Position Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately collect and enter fees from playground patrons, field trips and birthday parties into point-of-sale system.
- Keep accurate attendance and accident records.
- Open and close the Lookout Ridge ticket booth and playground area.
- Operate standard office equipment to include computers, tablets, projectors, credit card readers and more.
- Access information in RecTrac computer program and assist with automated ticketing kiosk.
- Welcome guests and interact with patrons, field trips and birthday parties in positive and friendly manner.
- Provide public with information and rules for Lookout Ridge.
- Keep supervisor informed of any suggestions or concerns.
- Communicate with birthday party hosts to ensure appropriate service and positive experience.
- Enforce Lookout Ridge rules to maintain safety and proper use of the play structure.
- Supervise birthday parties and groups as assigned.
- Keep birthday parties moving on time.
- Prepare work area for daily operation.
- Perform light maintenance including, but not limited to: room set-up and take-down, general cleaning of windows, floors, spills, tables, chairs, vacuuming, emptying trash cans, or other cleaning as assigned.
- Stock inventory.
- Report acts of vandalism and equipment needing repair.
- Perform daily and nightly cleaning tasks
- Pick up debris and litter.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Customer service skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Guest Services experience.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale transactions.
