OPPORTUNITY
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to fill a position and contract with a CNA Instructor for a Federally supported client in Drums, PA 18222.
LOCATION
Our client provides care at a Wellness Center servicing at risk youth on a residential campus to prepare them for meaningful employment. Students ages range from 16 thru 24 years at our location in Drums, PA 18222.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
We are looking for someone who is PA DOE certified to provide training from September 8 to January 31, 2026.
The facilities time of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday with the weekends off.
General Responsibilities:
- Deliver the PDE-approved NATCEP curriculum via classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments.
- Design, develop, and implement syllabus and instructional materials aligned with state/national standards.
- Supervise and evaluate trainee performance in both theoretical and clinical settings.
- Manage course compliance, including documentation, participation in PDE site reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
- RN (Primary Instructor): Unrestricted PA license + ≥2 years nursing experience (≥1 year in long-term care).
- LPN (Assistant Instructor): Same licensing and experience, but only authorized to teach up to 49% of program hours.
- Completed TTE Workshop and obtained PDE approval as instructor.
- Background and Health Screening: CHRI and negative TB clearance.
- CPR Certification; preference for adult education experience and clearances (e.g., Act 153).
Helpful Desirable Traits:
- Familiarity with instructional technology and adult learning methodologies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to support diverse learners and maintain compliance with legal and healthcare standards.
