POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsiblefor the effective and efficient operation of the Security Operations Centerduring assigned shift. Supervisors mustperform all duties and responsibilities required of a Security Operations Dispatcher
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associatedegree in a Security related discipline and two (2) years security relatedexperience, preferably in an airport environment, or an equivalent combinationof education, training and experience. Experiencemonitoring alarms and/or security systems in an operations center preferred.
- Leadership and supervisory skills preferred
- Computer proficiency to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Transportation Security Administration security requirements
- Experience/knowledge of general airport operations
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively and professionally interact with various Authority staff and Airport security personnel
- Ability to operate a two-way radio
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle more than one task at a time
- Must be able to act effectively in highly stressful situations
- Must be able to type a minimum of 25 cwpm
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding English required, multilingual skills desired
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid Florida driver’s license
