Responsible for developing strategy and business cases, coordinating with multiple marketing and IT groups for presentation and service delivery, managing the daily process for faults, and rapidly responding to client concerns. Significant duties include:
- Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Identifying customer needs, conducting market research, and translating insights into product requirements.
- Overseeing the product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful product execution.
- Managing the product from ideation to launch and beyond, including ongoing improvement and maintenance.
- Collaborating with various teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, legal) to ensure a cohesive product strategy and execution.
- Prioritizing features and allocating resources effectively to maximize product impact.
- Tracking key metrics, analyzing data, and using insights to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Communicating product strategy and progress to stakeholders and managing expectations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective presentation skills to all levels, from senior management to line/staff associates.
- Experience with cost benefit analysis in preparing/reviewing business cases.
- Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), etc.) and governance issues.
- 5 years minimum related work experience.
- Product management experience to include experience leading large mission critical products that involve significant business and technology change.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize work in order to achieve critical deadlines.
- Superior supervisory and matrix management skills; demonstrated ability to oversee tasks delegated to others.
- Master of Business Administration or Finance.
- PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent.
