Our Accounting department values precision, integrity, and teamwork. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles. Our team works closely with government, hospitals, and retail accounts handling a wide range of financial activities from managing financial transactions, compliance, to overseeing billing and payments, and handling the day-to-day financial operations.
Job Summary: Working closely with the CFO, the Corporate Controller will lead a skilled team of accounting professionals. The Corporate Controller will manage the monthly financial close and consolidation and oversee preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages. Strong GAAP and cost accounting skills are essential. Recent experience in a highly diversified and complex manufacturing environment is highly desirable. The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to work in a collaborative environment, with a willingness to be hands-on.
Reporting Relationship: Chief Financial Officer
Shift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8 to 5 pm CST. This is an onsite role in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.
Scope of the Role:
- Oversee general accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S GAAP, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and manage the annual external audit by EY
- Ensure best practices in accounting by establishing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Ensure compliance with lender covenants and adherence to lender reporting timelines
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State statutory filing requirements
- Work with core team to help drive a strong system of corporate internal controls across the company
- Assist with Board material preparation, communication, and ongoing financial analyses
- Work with other functional areas of the business, including manufacturing, to ensure company capital is optimized
- Optimize existing ERP and business systems by partnering with IS team, with an eye towards automation and simplification of existing accounting close and reporting processes
- Act as a key contributor to strategic and annual planning/budgeting processes, as well as monthly reforecast of the business plan
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA and background in public accounting strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting or finance, with a proven track record in a leadership or managerial role
- Prior experience in a technology and or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP, working in a complex manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to handle complex financial data and create meaningful analyses to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong system skills across multiple ERP platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative with a keen eye to detail and a hands-on approach

Working Conditions:
Requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Candidates must be able to sit, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach. Problem-solving, practical learning, and instruction interpretation skills are essential.
