- Source, organize and analyze company and industry data for the HBJ’s weekly research rankings, using surveys, public databases and other relevant sources.
- Produce news coverage and enterprise reporting derived from research, rankings and other data projects through traditional news reporting and visual storytelling techniques.
- Create, update and maintain database of all companies and sources to be surveyed for every research ranking. Database must be constantly updated.
- Oversees the creation of infographics to illustrate data findings, including supplementing other reporters' work.
- Supports newsroom news and enterprise projects that include or are driven by data.
- Participates with newsroom during Business Journal events.
