Merchology is in pursuit of a Production Process Coordinator to join our Production team! This person specializes in making sure quality products are produced, labor is efficient, and products are delivered on time. Join a fast-growing team with opportunities for advancement.


Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, plus occasional OT as needed


A successful Production Process Coordinator will:

  • Understand equipment and processes to troubleshoot order issues.
  • Ensure training needs are met and hold employees accountable to documented processes. Train new associates within the department.
  • Maximize labor and equipment by creating and following best practices.
  • Support the importance of creating high quality products.
  • Communicate within and across departments (including ticketing) to gather information needed to make decisions.
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment or processes to resolve issues.
  • Cross-train members of the production team to ensure seamless coverage at all times.
  • Identify problems, develop solutions, and implement change to make us better.
  • Assure staff scheduling is sufficient to meet business needs, including providing direction to off-shift Supervisors/Leads.
  • Ensure quality decoration of product through QC inspection.
  • Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to stand for 7-9 hours per day
  • A minimum of 12 months related experience
  • Detail oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Positive attitude and can get others to follow
  • Intermediate skills and knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook
  • Ability to fill-in for missing employees
  • Ability to identify colors and shades
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Excellent employee relations skills to lead in a team setting
  • Positive employee relations with all other staff
  • Excellent ability to make decisions
  • Ability to work in a warm environment (certain times of year)
