POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Regional Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for providing the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the Inventory, Shipping & Receiving and Copier Setup has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the department and by working with the Director of Warehouse Operations to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This role is also responsible for directing, planning, budgeting, and leading the company’s Warehouse Operations division to ensure they are a profitable contributor to the business.

 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
▪ Manage the Inventory, Shipping & Receiving and Copier Setup team members as follows:
- Providing direction and support to ensure timely, high quality and cost-effective product service to our clients.
- Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction by acting as a point of contact or go to person to handle escalated issues and questions.
- Enabling and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitoring service activity and financials.
- Manage and give final approval for department adjustments and write-offs.
▪ Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client, vendor and supplier grievances and issues.
▪ Execute process improvement within the Warehouse Operations department including assessing, planning and implementing.
▪ Establish, monitor, create visibility and hold team members accountable to benchmarks of KPI’s related to Purchasing department activities.
▪ Represent Warehouse Operations department in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
▪ Actively participate and perform acquisition related activities including but not limited to assessing inventory and assigning value and overseeing integration processes for go-live day.
▪ Lead annual regional audit for Warehouse Operations division including but not limited to performing as the liaison for auditors, establishing and managing audit processes and approving audit inventory adjustments.
▪ Actively participate the strategic planning process and help in formulation of the Warehouse Operations long term objectives and plans.
▪ Collaborate with the Executive Leadership team to maximize operating leverage and create enterprise value.
▪ Drive the Warehouse Operations division to meet and exceed sales, profitability, and business goals to achieve longterm, sustainable EBITDA.
▪ Administer and control the Warehouse Operations division P&L and expense budget to contribute to a cost-effective operation.
▪ Identify and present solutions to ensure that divisional solutions and capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and changing objectives.

▪ Provide management, direction and mentorship to Warehouse Operations division leadership and personnel.
▪ Recruit, attract and retain key personnel.
▪ Keep abreast of state-of-the-art industry developments through attendance at trade and professional meetings and seminars, trade shows, literature, and other educational activities.
▪ Demonstrate leadership by presenting a positive example, establishing high standards, holding people accountable and maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
▪ Appropriately represent Marco in organizational relationships with clients, suppliers, competitors, bankers, government agencies, professional societies, and similar groups.
▪ Attend required company and departmental meetings.
▪ Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
▪ Perform other related duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 10 years+ of industry experience.


Licenses and Certifications

- Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance and an acceptable driving record.


REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and strong operational focus.
2. Extensive knowledge of IT subjects including proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Outlook.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
