JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of Corporate Sales Coordinator position is to provide world class service to all guests both internal and external. The role will handle inbound group sales leads for select hotels as assigned profitably negotiating room rates and function space commitments to enhance financial performance. The Corporate Sales Coordinator will also assist in the execution of the administrative process of the Corporate Revenue Generation Department including portfolio sales and revenue reporting and misc sales and revenue projects as assigned. The role will also handle inbound group sales leads for select hotels as assigned profitably negotiating room rates and function space commitments to enhance financial performance. This person should be service-oriented and outgoing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all incoming business leads for hotels as assigned by Corporate Director of Sales
- Promptly follows up on all customer needs and inquiries in an efficient and expedient manner
- Use sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer requirements while upholding sales guidelines for the assigned hotels.
- Maintain files and sales databases as per company standards.
- Assist the Corporate Revenue Generation team in administrative related duties.
- Ensure efficient communication of group needs to hotel operations staff for execution
- Execute assigned sales reporting and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Follow-up on all special projects and assignments given by the Corporate Director of Sales
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency with TripleSeat and/or Delphi sales systems is a plus
- Experience in a hotel is preferred
