Position Title: Senior Manager/Associate Director, Medical Communications & Analytics
The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Medical Communications & Analytics, will report to the Director, Medical Communications and will work closely with Senior Director, National MSL Team Lead, and Head of Medical Affairs to assume a key role within the organization. The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Medical Communications & Analytics will assist with Medical Affairs strategy through data and insight analysis through monitoring of scientific affairs field engagement metrics. This individual must be able to deliver key, actionable insights in comprehensible manner to leadership and key stakeholders. May be a remote position from a home-based office. Requires domestic travel of approximately 10-20%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the oversight and analysis of departmental metrics, including medical information request metrics and voice of customer capture.
- Develop strategic insights to support field medical scientific engagement.
- Support life-cycle management (LCM) through analysis and generation of actionable insights throughout the competitive landscape.
- As needed, serve as medical & scientific review committee (MSRC) meeting coordinator, ensuring materials are reviewed adequately and promptly.
- Develop and implement new and innovative strategies for generating insights, including the use of artificial intelligence and other innovative approaches to data analysis.
- Support Medical Communications through creation and dissemination of Medical Materials for both internal and external use. This includes the training of the Medical Affairs Team on newly approved resources.
- Collaborate on and serve as lead coordinator for assigned Medical Communications projects and initiatives that align with the team and organization’s goals/objectives.
- Serve as Grants Review Committee coordinator, overseeing the compliant processing and review of grants and independent medical education submissions.
- In collaboration with the MSL Team, coordinate and contribute to medical conference planning, enhancing the organization's presence and engagement with key stakeholders in the scientific/medical community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and drive the overall strategic direction of the department, aligning with broader organizational goals.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of digital assets pertaining to Esperion Medical/Science (ie: website, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Develop and maintain relationships with leaders at HCP and patient advocacy organizations aligned with Esperion goals.
- Assist with competitive intelligence monitoring through social media and subsequently assist with social medial educational calendar.
- Form positive relationships throughout the organization to support the generation and sharing of actionable insights for the organization as whole.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of Medical Affairs Leadership
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Senior Manager: Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Associate Director: Advanced degree with 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with artificial intelligence and advanced analytical platforms, such as PowerBI, Excel, and other related systems.
- Ability to utilize latest technology to assist with needs of the department.
- Thorough understanding of the healthcare environment including all external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead technical discussions internally and externally and explain scientific/medical concepts to all levels.
- Ability to develop relationships cross-functionally throughout the organization.
- Track record of cultivating and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in the relevant fields.
- Attention to detail in analyses, deliverables, and communications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; must be able to provide succinct, strategic, and actionable insights to senior management.
- A proactive self-starter who can lead work independently, with the ability to see the next step and act without prompting.
- Strong interpersonal skills particularly motivational, negotiation, listening, judgment, analytic, and conflict management skills, and demonstrated ability to lead teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing and expanding environment.
