About the Program:
The Bellflower Early Learning Link (BELL) is a FREE, interactive early childhood program for families residing within the Bellflower Unified School District attendance boundaries. Designed for children ages 0–5 and their parent or caretaker, BELL offers a play-based learning environment that supports cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. The program provides families with opportunities to bond, grow, and connect with others in the community.
Position Summary:
Bellflower Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate BELL Program Facilitator to lead interactive, developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 0–5 and their parents or caretakers. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, engaging environment where families can learn and play together.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications:
*Child Development Permit
*Associates Degree in Child Development
*Experience working with young children and/or families in educational or community-based settings
*Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in parent-child engagement
*Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
*Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
*CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
*Must pass background check and meet BUSD requirements
