Job Title:
Clerk (Facilities & Safety)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily express mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) shipping and receiving activities for the Detroit office.
- BPCS input in regard to MRO receiving items (packing slips, invoices, etc.) for the Detroit office.
- Creation of EREQ’s for building supplies and facility maintenance invoices for the Detroit office.
- Monitor, order and maintain various office and kitchen supplies for the Detroit office.
- Other miscellaneous activities including updating the Detroit office phone list and seating chart, answering phone, filing, mail delivery, etc.
- Assist Facilities Superintendent with building and pool vehicle repair and maintenance support.
- Support overall building safety and related safety activities.
- Fill in for the Facilities Superintendent when he is out of the office.
- Support the Facilities Superintendent in all other matters as required.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years clerical experience required.
- HS Diploma with some college coursework (degree preferred)
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.
- Good customer service skills.
- Trainable on forklift use and its safety.
- Some familiarity with building cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Cleanliness (5S) and safety focused.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail.
