About the Role:
The Pharmacy Manager provides oversight of the daily operations of the pharmacy. Responsible for the supervision of pharmacists and technicians. The Pharmacy Manager ensures that all state and federal pharmacy regulations are followed by the pharmacy team members and ensures proper safe medication care is delivered to patients.
Schedule: 20 hours/week. Between the hours of 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy.
- Active pharmacist license.
- 2 years of experience as a pharmacist.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:
- Directly supervises the daily operations of the pharmacy including workflow delegation and coordination.
- Triages daily issues with referral source(s) and internal customers
- Responsible for the implementation and follow through on quarterly and yearly department goals.
- Provides pharmaceutical care in patient counseling, prescription review and dispensing.
- Adheres to all state and federal pharmacy law and holds team members responsible for following laws and regulations.
- Works in conjunction and/or supervises the logistics team to assure the proper storage and handling of drug products and ancillary supplies.
- Responsible for the implementation of Human Resources initiatives and performs yearly employee evaluations.
- Provides structured feedback to employees.
- Responsible for the development of team goals.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors and staff.
