Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! This position will rotate between various location within St. Cloud including Southway, Sartell and Northway Labs.

What you’ll do:

• Collect blood samples from the patient
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients
• Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up

Schedule: 

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks 
• Monday and Friday plus additional floating day 
• Rotating shifts between 6:45am-3:45pm, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 8:15am-5:15pm; 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay and Benefits: 

• Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hour

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program 
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
