Custom Truck One Source’s Rental Planning & Analysis Manager will oversee executive-level management reporting and financial reporting for the organization. The primary focus of the position is to support both the Rental function and leadership of segment(s) of the organiza-tion to help drive profitable growth throughout Custom Truck One Source (“CTOS”). The role will provide thought leadership and insights to key stakeholders through his or her reporting development. The role will also develop complex financial modeling and interface with de-partment leaders across the business to deliver insightful and action-oriented financial analy-sis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the Rental function on month-end, quarter-end, and annual reporting
• Play a pivotal role between Rental teams and segment leadership
• Support the strategic business planning process, providing essential analysis on KPIs
• Research, analyze, reconcile, and validate a variety of data sets and information to in-form business decisions
• Design and implement rental models to aid key business decision making
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or Accounting
• MBA preferred
• 8-15 years of relevant work experience
• Advanced Excel Skills. This can include the ability to interpret SQL and a growing re-quirement for dashboard creation using tools such as Power BI
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth understanding of financial statements
• Demonstrated success working both independently and in highly collaborative envi-ronments
• Excellent presentation skills essential (including Board level)
• Extensive software/Internet/technology network of contacts
• Exceptional analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills essential
Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time including overnight stays.
