The Role
As the Operations Area Manager (AM) in the Columbus Fulfillment Center (FC), you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of inbound, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will build, optimize, and scale operations while developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational ownership: Oversee designated path, ensuring seamless execution in quality, productivity and inventory management
- Lean & continuous improvement: Help implement Kaizen, 5S, and other Lean principles to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency
- Process standardization: Ensure all stations, workflows, and processes are structured and standardized for maximum efficiency
- Inventory processing: Daily responsible for inbound process path including receiving, product quality checks, and storage
- Quality control: Enforce quality standards, and drive continuous enhancements to reduce defects and inefficiencies
- Communication & collaboration: Work cross-functionally with tech, logistics, and corporate teams to align strategies and drive improvements
Requirements
