Applications are being accepted for the position of Part Time Welding Instructor (Mornings Only) for our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus location. This position will work Monday to Friday 7:30-11:30.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Welding teacher will prepare students to acquire welding techniques and be product verified with weldment testing. Students will develop a working knowledge of blueprint reading, and the welding processes for Shielded Metal ARC Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored ARC Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten ARC Welding (GTAW) with the use of thermal cutting equipment. Students will learn about the tools and equipment for the welding trade.

Salary: $25,325.50 - $42,318.00 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder.
Welding Instructors must hold an AWS Certification
Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies https://www.azed.gov/educator-certification/forms-and-information/certificates
Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
