REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience working with children.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to plan activities for young children.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Responsible for the safety and well-being of the children.
- Assume equal responsibility of the joint housekeeping responsibilities of the room(s).
- Responsible for the arrangement, appearance, and learning environment of the classroom.
- Assist the instructor in implementing the program for the students in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the school.
- Assist instructor with the organizational duties.
- Take an active role in large and small groups, work-time (Plan-Do-Review) and all areas of running the classroom.
- Take the lead in running the classroom when the teacher is absent and there is a substitute.
- Assist in planning and implementation of field trips.
- Attend all Professional Learning Communities (PLC), plan daily, parent orientation, Meet and Greet and professional development opportunities sponsored by the WBPA.
- Have valid CPR and first-aid training.

Per Community Education Salary Schedule depending on qualifications and experience
